The Best Four Happy Hours in Venice

The Best 4 Happy Hours in Venice

Posted on Friday, May 19, 2017 by Nikki Dussault.

Work’s over so it’s time to kick back with friends over a drink at your favorite Happy Hour. We have so many great Happy Hours out here, we’re blessed – but which ones are the best Happy Hours in Venice? We thought you’d never ask!

We’ll start off with South End located at 2805 Abbot Kinney.  Chef Mario Vollera turns out rustic pies, crisp-tender Neapolitan-style pizzas with a lot of Italian cheeses, local ingredients and seasonal products. He also picks Vino from all over the world, offering a vibrant wine list with lots of interesting, historical, organic, exotics vinos. Happy Hour there means the bottles are very affordable and we all know how powerful the pairing of pizza and wine can be!

Next up is The Anchor located at 235 Main St. Happy Hour here goes from Tues-Sun 4-6pm and includes bottomless Bloody Mary’s, $5 draught beers and glasses of house wine for $5. We sampled the Lobster Rolls (amazing!) and shishito peppers. The downside is that when we went it was super-crowded (because it’s super small) and for the prices, the servings could be bigger.

We really loved Alley Lounge over at 12223 W. Washington Blvd. It’s a cocktail lounge located in the alley behind FIN Asian Tapas Bar. Although no signage can be spotted, you can assure yourself that you are heading in the right direction as you walk down the romantically lit alleyway east side of FIN Restaurant. A couple velvet ropes will help guide you to the ramp just before you are greeted by a vibrant peacock. Happy Hour here runs every night of the week from 6pm-8pm.

Also highly recommended as one of the best Happy Hours in Venice is Sinder Lounge over on 4100 Admiralty Way. Happy Hour here runs from 4-6pm and includes half-price foods such as the sliders, wings, enpanadas and street dogs as well a complimentary Hot & Spicy Popcorn. The places is situated in the middle of a hotel (the Marriott) so the people watching is lots of fun.

Wherever you decide to take your Happy Hour, please remember to drink responsibly. Have fun!
